Netflix has finally confirmed the release date of the most awaited season of Lucifer. Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 is releasing on 28th May 2021. Lucifer is one of the most well-known Netflix original series. The series first aired back in 2016 and is still ongoing. People are hooked to the series because of the plot and cast. Tom Ellis plays the role of Lucifer, who returns from hell to reside in Los Angeles and starts a local club. But it was not always like this. The show first aired on the Fox channel, but after season 1 and season 2 they tried to cancel the show sadly. But then Netflix came into the scene like a hero and saved the show from being canceled. There are currently 5 seasons of Lucifer on Netflix.
Lucifer star, Lesley-Ann Brandt, who plays the role of Mazikeen, also confirmed that Lucifer Season 6 has also wrapped up filming.
In Lucifer Season 5A, the devil returns to Earth but later it was revealed that it was actually his twin-brother Michael who came to Earth and was pretending to be Lucifer. Later, Lucifer also returns and the showdown between Michael and Lucifer begins. Lucifer Season 5A ended with a huge cliffhanger. The conflict between brothers turned into a huge fight, during the fight, the “God”, played by Dennis Haysbert, appears to stop the fight.
In the trailer of Lucifer Season 5 Part 2, it was revealed that God is retiring and now Michael is going to fight Lucifer for the throne.
