Amazon denied the report from City A.M that Amazon was planning to accept Bitcoin payment by the end of the year. The report from London’s City A.M pumped the Bitcoin price. After reaching the $40,556.00 price, the Bitcoin price fell below $38,000. Amazon spokesperson said:

Notwithstanding our interest in the space, the speculation that has ensued around our specific plans for cryptocurrencies is not true. We remain focused on exploring what this could look like for customers shopping on Amazon.
