Diablo 4 Season 2 has brought exciting new content. However, some players have encountered issues where Renown Points do not carry over as expected. In this guide, we will explore why this issue may occur and provide step-by-step solutions to ensure a seamless transition of Renown Points into Season 2.
Renown is a unique gameplay system and currency introduced in Diablo 4, representing your reputation and standing within the diverse Sanctuary Zones. Renown Points are earned through various in-game activities and achievements, providing an incentive for players to engage with Diablo 4’s content. Renown is awarded for activities like exploration, quest completion, and other in-game achievements. As you undertake these activities, your Renown will steadily increase.

Why Diablo 4 Season 2 Renown Points Not Carrying Over
With the launch of Season 2, players naturally expect their Renown points from Season 1 to carry over, granting them a head start in the new season. A notable change in Season 2 is the introduction of account-wide rewards. Once a player reaches the maximum Renown level on any character, the rewards are automatically unlocked for all future characters on the same account.
The new account-wide reward system eliminates the need to grind Renown for each new seasonal character. This simplifies the gameplay experience, allowing players to enjoy the rewards more readily.
Renown progress earned from standard or seasonal characters will not carry over to Hardcore characters. However, unlocked Renown rewards on one Hardcore character will carry over to others.
There is no bug at all that is stopping the renown points from carrying over from season 1 to season 2. This is actually a change made by the developers. While you won’t be able to carry the renown points completely you will still be able to keep the rewards.

Final Words
The Diablo 4 Season 2 Renown system introduces account-wide rewards, streamlining the gameplay experience and ensuring that your hard-earned Renown points benefit all your future characters.
