DMZ has a set of new missions and hardships to go through. One such is in Koschei Complex, where you have to unlock the keypad-locked room using the R4D Detector. This mission is part of “X Marks the Spot” in DMZ. There are two quests, including the Koschei Complex Map extraction and then unlocking the Keypad Locked Room in the Alpha Cluster Koschei Complex.

Unlock Keypad Locked Room in Koschei Complex Alpha Cluster with R4D Detector DMZ
The first thing is that you need to go to the Koschei Complex. There is no boundary as to which route you have to take. You can go through any entrance you like.
But before you go, we recommend you take a car battery and jumper cable on your character.
We are going into the Alpha Cluster in DMZ and here you will be needing both of these things to get inside.
Getting to Alpha Cluster
Now that you have both of these, just get going to the Koschei Complex. After you are there, go to the chemical plant, and from there you will have to go to the Alpha Cluster.
Make sure you also have the R4D Detector with you and if you don’t we have the guide to getting it below.
In the area, you will find a Blast Door you will have to open and after that, you are in the Chemical Plant.
Use the Night Vision Goggles to get inside the area and move around. From there onwards, you need to go east side by using your compass.
Wait at the door you find locked leading to Alpha Cluster. Just forward a few steps and you will find a location to insert jumper cables.
Insert the Jumper Cables and the Car Battery connection. Go back and you can unlock the locked door and then to the Alpha Cluster.
Getting R4D Detector in DMZ
Now that you are there, you also need the R4D Detector in DMZ. In every game, you will find it in the same spot every time. After you are in the Alpha Cluster, you can find a center path in the chemical plant.
After that, you will find a small building that is actually broken down and has four windows. Go inside the room and you will find R4D Detector in DMZ. It is required to Unlock Keypad Locked Room in Koschei Complex Alpha Cluster in DMZ.
Sentry Gun
Now, you have to go back to the Door and from there pass onwards. Make sure you are aware of a sentry gun in the area. Running past without being aware of it can result in death.
Proceeding Onwards
After you got through the Sentry Gun area, you can just throw your goggles away. You will be needing DDOS here in DMZ. If you can find it, it will help you because of the sentry guns in the area onwards.
Even if you don’t have DDOS, you can just proceed but be cautious of the sentry guns in the area.
Server Room
Now, the next room you are going in is basically filled with a ton of enemies, as well as quite a lot of sentry guns. Plate up and get ready for combat.
After going to the Server Room, you will have to take the right and then the stairs. Take out the enemies there and take the right side. Then take the stairs up.
There are two sentry guns at that spot. Then again, you will be able to proceed to the next step after fighting enemies and sentry guns.
Keypad Locked Room in Koschei Complex Alpha Cluster
This is the main part here. The Keypad Locked Room is in front of you and you will have to use the Keypad to open the Alpha Cluster Koschei Complex Locked Door.
Open your inventory and take out the R4D Detector. Put it right above the keypad. After that, you can see the three symbols on that. Take a screenshot or write them down.
To solve the Alpha Cluster Koschei Complex puzzle, you will have to keep track of these symbols. You can call them a “Star”, a “B” and a “Pi symbol”. The order of these symbols reflects the order you are going to put into the keypad.
The reason we are not giving you the Keypad Number is that they change for each game. So, it is better to just find them on your own. Here’s how to do it.
Finding Symbol Code for Locked Room in Koschei Complex Alpha Cluster
On the right side of the Keypad, you have to drop down. Face the Wall and just beside the wall, you will find some combinations.
There is a Star Symbol there and then there is a number equal to that. Take note of them and move onwards.
Moving around the walls, you will find the second chalkboard with the second symbol and its number.
Next to the Elevator, you will find another chalkboard beside the green door. The final chalkboard is right here at this location. Keep in mind that you might not find a number sometimes and that means you have to proceed onwards.
Putting in the Numbers
