Replay Missions

Replaying missions is arguably the easiest method to farm money in Armored Core 6. And it has the added benefit of exploring the level further for any hidden elements that weren’t obvious the first time around.

To replay already completed missions, head over to your garage and Sortie like normal. You will get the option to replay any mission you like. But you need to be strategic about this. Missions that offer unusually high COAM are particularly desirable.

One such mission is the sixth mission of the game’s first chapter, “Attack the Dam Complex”. The mission to destroy the enormous Strider is another great option. Let’s cover how to best replay these missions for maximum COAM below:

Attack the Dam Complex

This mission gets you a total of 190,000 COAM. And while there are deductions based on time spent, resources used, and damage taken, you can still earn a good 170,000 COAM by using a light robot and playing smart.

When replaying this mission, keep in mind that the goal is to destroy the four enemy generators. Not eliminate all enemy robots. As soon as the mission starts, use your boost to reach the first generator. There will be enemies here. Focus on the generators and let your two companion robots handle the rest.

The second generator is to the right of the first. It is surrounded by more enemies, and you’ll have to clear the big guns and robots to reach it. Destroy it and keep going right for the third generator. Once you’ve destroyed that, use your boost to fly to the first level. Then jump to the top of the building with the fourth and final generator. Destroy it to complete the mission.

Destroy Weaponised Mining Ship and Eye

This mission has a hefty payout of 270,000 COAM. And it’s relatively easy and brief. To replay this mission for maximum payout, immediately use Assault Boost to reach the mission objective as quickly as possible.

While you make your way to the objective, the Stridor will attempt to shoot you with his incredibly powerful lasers. Make sure to dodge them. Once you’re close enough, the mission target shifts to one of the Strider’s legs. Reach it using a cliff and destroy it. Continue making your way towards new mission targets.

Your next objective is to destroy four subgenerators to take down the Eye’s shield. You can find them on the Stridor’s roof, underbelly, and one on each side of the machine. Then prepare to destroy the Eye. Dodge the laser beams it sends your way and take cover. Your best bet is to fight at long range here. Once the Eye is destroyed and the Strider collapses, Assault Boost to the new mission indicator to end the mission.

Farm Arena Targets

The second way to farm money in Armored Core 6 is Arena targets. Sure, they only pay half as much after your first run, and you don’t get any additional benefits like OS chips or new parts. But they are still a great way to make some quick money.

Which specific targets you should farm is entirely up to you. This is because not everything is unlocked from the start, and each target needs a specific build and play style to counter it. But your goal should be to find a healthy balance between payout, difficulty, and time taken.

If you’re skilled enough, you can take out some Arena targets in thirty seconds or less. Even higher-end Arena battles earning 100,000 COAM per fight only take a minute or so. This gives Arena battles a much higher farming yield compared to standard missions.

Sell Spare Parts

Now, this isn’t the most recommended option, but if you’re really in a bind, you can sell any parts you aren’t currently using for money. This will limit your options when it comes to part customization. But it can be very valuable to get those extras to help you win against the toughest bosses.

Each part sells for the exact price you paid for it. And becomes instantly purchasable again in the Parts Store. So you’re not going to suffer any long-term consequences if you sell something you might need again in the future.

Complete Optional Objectives

Other than the mandatory main objectives, some missions in Armored Core 6 also have optional objectives. Completing these can earn you some much-needed extra COAM during your runs. You can also look for optional objectives during your replays.

Keep in mind that deviating from the main mission to complete these optional objectives can affect the time taken, which affects how much you earn. Weigh the pros and cons before you decide on a course of action.

Get S Rank in Missions

Armored Core 6 assigns you a ranking at the end of each mission. The S Rank is the highest attainable rank. And guess what? It’s associated with more income at the end of each mission.

Of course, getting an S Rank is not easy. You’ll need to complete the mission as fast as possible while minimizing the damage your mech takes. You’ll also need to be very precise with your attacks to limit ammo consumption. And if you die and respawn from a checkpoint, say goodbye to any chances of getting an S Rank for that run.

Conclusion

You can farm money in Armored Core 6 by replaying missions, selling parts, farming Arena targets, completing optional objectives, and getting S Ranks. We hope this guide on the Best Money Farming Methods in Armored Core 6 helps. As always, happy gaming!
