Who is Imbibitor Lunae?
In theory, Imbibitor Lunae is actually Long and his powers incarnate. Long is the Aeon of Permanence. Supposedly, he did a ritual where he (Imbibitor Lunae) would become a dragon and then get Long’s power.
But, somehow, the whole ritual was done halfway, therefore, he only got half of Long’s powers. Therefore, Imbibitor Lunae looks more like a dragon and can also hold control over the Azure Dragon.
Who is Blade and How did he come into being in Honkai Star Rail?
The Ritual that transforms oneself into Dragon isn’t that simple. It not only lets you get the Long’s Power but also the decreased Aeon’s Will. Therefore, one can be a vessel to host him.
Imbibitor Lunae, after the first ritual, came to realize that after more rituals, another presence inside the body gains more strength and could take control. Sometimes that presence takes control over Long’s Body and commits sins in return.
Therefore, he chose to separate them, changing the form and ultimately becoming Blade.
Thoery about Blade and Imbibitor Lunae Honkai Star Rail
The real identity of Blade in Honkai Star Rail is Vydyadhara, who is a reincarnation of High Elder (sacrificed Scalegorge Waterscape to Seal Ambrosia Arbor Root’s). That High Elder Reincarnated as the Imbibitor Lunae.
After doing the Ritual, his body was filled with Long’s Power and also his will, as well as consciousness. While, Blade got the power of immortality, indestructibility, and permanence.
Why didn’t Senior Vydyadhara Destroy Dan Feng?
Jing Yuan said that there was a lot of hate for Dan Feng from Senior Vydyadhara. Half were in favor of getting rid of him, while others were against this decision.
The obvious reason behind it was that Imbibitor Lunae wasn’t fully capable of getting the Long’s Power, because of the half-ritual. Therefore, the resurrection of Long was a complete failure.
Why did they want to destroy Blade and Imbibitor Lunae?
The reason behind this was to undo the ritual or redo it so that the Aeon can be revived once again. Hope this makes sense now.
