Introduction to Starfield

Starfield is sometimes referred to as one of the most anticipated games of 2023, or some even refer to it as Game of the Decade. In either case, the titles given to this game speak for themselves.

Starfield was developed by the masters themselves, going by the name of “Bethesda Games Studios”, and published by “Bethesda Softworks”, who are known to create some other masterpieces like Fallout, Skyrim, and Can’t Forget Doom.

Taking place in a Space Theme this time, you have a futuristic world. This means you can travel from one planet to another in a completely different environment and time.

On top, you have your very own futuristic equipment like Space Ships, and vehicles used to travel on grounds/air. You start the game as a miner, who works in the Settled Systems, as Exploration is something that was done in the past.

But, you are different, as you love to explore things and discover something completely new on your own. Each path you take in the game will basically pave a different route for you. So make up your mind before you jump into anything.

To do this you need to first forget the color identifiers and see what the resources are in the biomes. For example; when you have iron in the mountain and chlorine in the swamp biome, you will have to search the planet map and land right on the edge of the biomes.

After clicking on the world map and putting in the landing spot icon. It will tell you what biome type it is going to zoom in on. Search for a spot where a millimeter or two will change the biome to either left or right.

Again, another example of this can be that you are landing on the swamp biome and you know that a mountain biome is west. Then, you have to look for the mountains to the west.

The purpose of this can be; to land in each biome to see what they look like for the first time. You can notice that on the World Map. In case iron is in the mountain biome, even if you land, you won’t get to see the color indicator for the iron resource.

But, there is still iron because all the mountain biomes have iron. Just like that, all the swamp biomes have chlorine, even if doesn’t show you. Run along the edge of both the biomes, but make sure you are not using the hand scanner.

Just open the hand scanner and use the button as if you are putting an outpost beacon down. Use that to search on an expanded surface. It will show you the radius of the beacon after running around with it openly. But, the beacon is not placed.

This is a neat trick to Find Spots that have 3 or more Resources. That’s all in our guide on How to Walk Between Resource Zones in Starfield.
