Fix for Mortal Kombat 1 (MK1) Slow Unpack
The slow unpacking is a result of the game hype. When all the players are tuning in for the game, the servers slow down a bit. There is a queue system as well, that causes the game to slow down. As a result, most players might not be able to unpack and get inside the game early.
- Open the Tak Manager on your system
- Click on the Details Tab
- Find the Steam.exe
- Right-click on the Steam.exe
- Click on “Set Priority” and set to high
