What is Rawhide in Diablo 4?
Rawhide is a skin that is referred to as a common leather amongst individuals. Being a crafting and upgrade material, you can use it to enhance your armor in Diablo 4.
Most of the time, skins in Diablo 4 are used to enhance pieces of Armor through Blacksmith.
Furthermore, there are a total of only two skin types in Diablo 4; one of them is the Rawhide Common and the other one is the Superior Leather, which is Magic Tier.

Rawhide Use!
Just as we mentioned before, you can use Rawhide to enhance or upgrade your Armor Pieces. Take the Rawhide to Blacksmith and then you can use it to upgrade your Armor individually.
How to get Rawhide?
Rawhide is typically very easy to find in Diablo 4, through slaughtering Breasts and other Wildlife.
You can also get Rawhide through salvaging. Go to the Blacksmith and Salvage the unwanted armor to gain Rawhide.
Diablo 4 Superior Leather
It is a Magic Crafting Material that you can use to upgrade Armor at Blacksmith. It is also a rare leather, unlike anything else in the game.
To get the Superior Leather in Diablo 4, you will have to slaughter wildlife and beats. You will find them in the Sanctuary or you can also get Superior Leather through Salvaging Magic Quality Armor.

The Verdict
For upgrading your Diablo 4 Armor, you will find only two types of materials; skins and leather. Rawhide is the common skin that you can use to upgrade armor and then Superior Leather is the one that is a Magic Tier armor upgrade.
