“Ginny and Georgia” is back at Netflix after two years. Season 2 has proved to be a success on the streaming platform as the show is trending in the Top 10. According to Netflix, season 2 of Ginny and Georgia is watched for a total of 504.77 million hours breaking the record of Netflix’s “13 reasons why season 2”. Also, Season 2 is trending at number 2 right now behind the new series “Lockwood & Co.“. If the series continues to say in the Top 10 for another week, it is expected to break the record of other famous Netflix projects like “Dahmer” and “Bridgerton”.
Fans are already wondering about Ginny and Georgia Season 3. Netflix has not announced season 3 of the series.
Ginny and Georgia Season 3 Release Date
It is too early to say anything about the release date of Ginny and Georgia Season 3 yet. It took 2 years for Ginny and Georgia season 2 to come out. If Netflix follows the same timeline, Ginny and Georgia season 3 might come out in early 2025. However, season 3 might come out early as there are no Covid-related delays. Netflix has yet to announce the renewal status of the show.
Plot
A lot happened in this season. Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger with Georgia being arrested for the murder of Tom Fuller. However, fans are wondering if will Georgia stays in prison for a long. What will happen to Ginny and Austin while their mother is being charged? or will Georgia end up going to prison?
Sarah Lamper revealed what might happen in the season in an interview with Deadline,
“If Georgia is being charged with this crime, we have Zion, he’s Ginny’s dad, we have Gill in the picture now,” she said. “I think previous to this, he had no chance at custody because he was a convicted felon but who knows now, and we’ve got Paul, who’s the stepdad.”
Also, Ginny and Marcus broke up in season 2. Lampert told deadline “in terms of season 3, all bets are off”. So, there is a possibility fan will be seeing two of them together in season 3.
One of the most important questions is who ratted out Georgia, fans believe that it was Nick who told Gabriel about Georgia. Also, will Marcus end up revealing Georgia’s biggest secret which can end up putting her in more trouble? and will Gill end up with Austin’s custody, now that Georgia is being charged?
Another important question that the show needs to answer in Season 3 is, Will Georgia and Joe become a couple in season 3? Both of them have feelings for each other.
