Everybody knows Outlast… who doesn’t know this bloody horrifying game? With the success of Outlast 1 to Outlast 3, the developers went ahead and threw their Ace on the ground, naming it the Outlast Trials. Actually, it is the Outlast 4 that everyone was hyped about. Most of the players are not satisfied with the FOV in the game and want to change that. Whether you can do that or not, we have here a discussion on Changing FOV in Outlast Trials to help you out.

Introduction to Outlast Trials

Outlast has been known as “The Most Horrying Game” to exist… like ever if you ask me. Red Barrels, the maker of Outlast franchise, made the Outlast Trials an initially paid game, meaning you will have to spend some cash on it.

The game is going to get into early access on 18th May 2023, giving you a Co-op Multiplayer experience over the duology. Yeah, we know it is experimental, but who wouldn’t like multiple survivors to play together and scream in agony while those bulked zombies follow you?

That is the case here… everyone would like to experience that. So, Red Barrel went ahead and threw a Multiplayer Experience over the traditional Outlast Experience.

One more thing lads. The game is present in the Cold War era when some insane scientists conducted experiments on pigs to control or brainwash them. There is a smell of fear, violence, and deadly disturbance all around, challenging your spirit, endurance, and sanity.

Change FOV in Outlast Trials – Discussed!

The issue with horror games is that they provide a different experience for everyone. Some like to get too close and some just want to take their time.

In Outlast Trials, there is no FOV Slider that allows you to change your FOV inside the game.

The thing we would recommend is simply to change your resolution and stretch it around. When you like to play far behind in your FOV, you can just change the Resolution to something that gives you a Black Cinematic experience.

Yeah, we know thing isn’t the same here, but still, there is something better than nothing.

Conclusion

All the games should have a FOV Slider Setting to change FOV nowadays, especially those with an adventure or horror genre. Unfortunatebly, you can’t Change FOV in Outlaste Trials, but you can do one thing.

In order to get the same experience, you can stretch the Resolution around to your liking.
