How to Complete Returning Curious Quest?
Talk to Idyia
Make your way to Idyia in the Silver Bottle Courtyard. An objective marker marks her location. Talk to her to get the Returning Curious quest. She will then read you the first cipher. It talks about sweet mist, dancing lamp light, and taking a seat beside a table in peace.
Find the First Memento
Head towards the restaurant area. You’ll see a table with a lamp and a bird on it. Approach it. There’s an option to sit. Take a seat on the chair right beside the lamp. A common chest will appear. Open it to get the first memento. Then return to Idyia to report your success.
Find the Second Memento
The second cipher mentions vines, being undisturbed, and a dream. Check your in-game map. You’ll see a marked location. Travel to its nearest Waypoint. Then make your way down to the objective marker. Ride the Choo-Choo cart there. You’ll come across an area with a streaming projector.
Move the crate in front of the projector and use the projector to enter the preprint world. Solve the puzzle there to return. Make your way to the yellow beacon in the distance and dig to get an exquisite chest. Open it to get the second memento. Return to the Silver Bottle Courtyard and report to Idyia.
Find the Third Memento
The third cipher mentions a blue ceiling and a floor of white candy. Travel to the Waypoint closest to the location marked on the map. You’ll see three water droplets wandering around. But they’ll break off once you approach.
Head up the stairs near where you first saw the water droplets. You’ll see the first Hydro Eidolon. Chase it. Then ask it to return to its original spot. Head north. See that Eidolon surrounded by Shroom enemies? Defeat the enemies and ask them to return.
You’ll find the third Eidolon on a floating island. It will transform once you approach it. Investigate it. This summons a Balloon Puzzle. Shoot all the balloons and ask the Eidolon to return. Then climb up the mountain to the hidden treasure. Dig to get the Luxurious Chest. Open it to get the third memento. Return to Idyia to report your success.
Hide your Own Memento
You will get the Memento Collection Box from Idyia. Look for a spot to hide your own memento. Hide your memento there with Paimon to complete the Returning Curious quest.
