How to get Daruk's Legendary Boulder Breaker in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

How to get the Boulder Breaker

Talk to Rohan and Fugo

First, complete all the main quests in Goron City. Once that’s done, head to the northern part of the city. Look for master blacksmith Rohan and his apprentice Fugo.

Talk to the pair to get the Soul of Goron side quest. This side quest tasks you with collecting the materials needed to make the Boulder Breaker.

Get the Materials

To make a Boulder Breaker, you need a Cobble Crusher, 3x Diamond, and 5x Flint.

Flint

You can get Flint by breaking rocks and ore deposits. This is the easiest material on the list.

Cobble Crusher

There are plenty of Cobble Crushers around Goron City. You can use a Cobble Crusher you already have, or get one of them.

The closest one is south of the main city in a Chest on a small ledge. You can find two similar Chests along the cart tracks on the south side of Death Mountain.

Diamond

There are plenty of ways to get this rare item, but the easiest is through rare ore deposits. Simply find a rare ore deposit and save it manually. Then break the deposit. If you don’t get a Diamond, reload the save and try again. Keep doing this until you get a Diamond.

You can also buy Diamonds from the Gonguron in the center of Goron City. He sells 3 Diamonds a day, each costing 1000 rupees. If that’s too expensive for you, you can fight a Stone Talus for a small chance of dropping a Diamond.

Three locations in the game have guaranteed Diamonds. The Jochi-ihiga Shrine near Tarey Town, the Ganos Shrine north of Gerudo Highlands, and the Sihajog Shrine on Valor Island. You can get one Diamond from each of these.

Craft Boulder Breaker

Once you have all the required materials, make your way back to Goron City. Talk to Rohan and Fugo, and they will craft Daruk’s Legendary Boulder Breaker for you.

This two-handed Goron weapon may be big and slow, but it has an incredible 38-base attack. And its Demolisher trait makes it ideal for smashing damaged rocks.

The only downside is its low durability. But even if you use the sword to its breaking point, you can have Fugo make you a new one with the same materials.

Conclusion

Once you bring them the required materials, Rohan and Fugo craft you a Boulder Breaker. We hope this guide on How to get Daruk’s Legendary Boulder Breaker in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom increases your chances of success. That said, happy gaming!
