How to Get Leather in Nightingale
Leather doesn’t magically appear – you gotta earn it! The main source is animal hides. Wolves, boars, and other creatures roaming the wilds are your quarry. Remember, just killing them won’t do. You need a Hunting Knife.
Crafting your first knife
- Gather 3 Rocks, 3 Sticks, and 6 Plant Fibers. Easy peasy, right? You can find these lying around on the ground.
- Build a Simple Workbench (wood and stone, no big deal).
- Craft your Makeshift Hunting Knife – you’re ready for action!
Obtain Hide
- Find your prey (wolves and boars are common early on).
- Defeat the animal (careful, they bite!).
- Equip your Hunting Knife before interacting with the carcass.
- Voila! You’ve got yourself some Hide.
Craft Leather
Now, hide isn’t leather yet. We need a Tanning Station:
