Twilight made Robbert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart famous overnight when it was released in 2008. Jacob Elordi and Jenna Ortega can potentially play the fan-favorite Twilight Characters in the upcoming Twilight reboot series.

Hardwicke also agreed and praised Jenna Ortega and she thinks the Scream actress is a good choice to play Bella;

“I do think there’s a lot of really cool young actors,” Hardwicke said. “You just mentioned Jenna Ortega, she’s amazing.”

Ortega rose to fame by starring in Netflix’s hit “Wednesday” and Scream movies. The actress is no stranger to playing teenage girls on the screens. But, the actress has a busy schedule as she is filming for Wednesday season 2 and Beetlejuice 2 so it might be difficult for her to be part of the Twilight series.

Hardwicke revealed that Lewis Tan also auditioned for the role of Jacob Black back in 2008 but the role went to Taylor Lautner instead. So, if the TV series wants the perfect Jacob Black, the 36-year-old might be a good choice.
