How to complete Russian Gas
The Russian Gas mission is a Tier 5 mission for the White Lotus faction. To complete this mission, you need to find some gas samples. This can be tricky as the samples are placed in hard-to-find areas.
There are a total of 3 objectives for this mission. You need to complete them all in the same deployment. These objectives are:
- Infil into Koschei Complex with Vondel Gas Sample
- Find Koschei Complex Gas Sample South of DRD
- Validate Chemical Similarity between Vondel and Kochei Complex Gas Sample at External Ops Sector Machine

Infil Koschei Complex with Vondel Gas Sample
If you completed the Chemists Sources DMZ mission, you should have the Vondel Gas Sample already. If not, the first thing you need to do is head over to Warzone 2’s Vondel map. Then make your way to the Fire Department on the map’s west side.
On the south side of the Fire Station, you will see a hedge maze. This is where you will find the Vondel Gas Sample. Climb on top of the hedges and look towards the center of the maze for a statue. Make your way toward it.
You will find the Vondel Gas Sample beside this statue. Pick it up and exfil from the area. Then deploy on the Al Mazrah map and make your way to the Oasis region with the gas sample. This area features an entrance to the Koschei Complex. Go inside.
Find Koschei Complex Gas Sample South of DRD
Once you find and enter the Koschei Complex, make your way to the Defense Research Division (DRD). Enter the radiation chamber inside, going past the first and second bunker doors. Unlock the third bunker door and head inside.
Then make your way to the far right corner. You will see some machines. The Koschei Complex gas sample is near one of these so look around to find it. Pick it up to complete the second task of the Russian Gas mission.
Validate Chemical Similarity between Gas Samples at External Ops Sector Machine
Exit the third bunker and head to the right. You will find a door leading to the Chemical Plant area. Explore the Chemical Plant region, opening the Bunker Doors you come across. One of the doors will feature a short flight of stairs going down. These lead to the External Ops section.
Head down the stairs and go right to the end of the hallway. You will find the machine to validate your samples. Validate the chemical similarity to complete the Russian Gas mission. Your reward is 40,000 XP and the Snowplow Operator Skin.
