Completing the Merlin Trials
Before you can begin the Merlin Trials, you need to complete the ‘Trials of Merlin’ main quest. This quest unlocks all the spells needed to solve the Trials. Once you have completed the quest, you can begin to tackle the Trials.
The first Trial is located in the North Ford Bog area, to the northwest of the East North Ford Bog Floo Flame point. It involves moving a giant ball covered with moss into a bowl-shaped goal set into the ground. To do this, you need to use Confringo or Incendio to clear the moss away, and then use Wingardium Leviosa or Depulso to move the ball.
