How to Unlock the Digipick Linked Safe in Starfield
Carefully Observe Missing Slots
Digipick Linked Safes in Starfield feature two rings. One larger outer ring and one smaller inner ring. Each ring has a bunch of missing slots. The number and position of the missing slots differ depending on the difficulty level of the puzzle.
Carefully observe these missing slots before you attempt to solve a Digipick Linked Safe. Note the number of missing slots in each ring and also, their position.
Observe Available Digipicks
Once you know the exact number of missing slots in the outer and inner rings, look to the right of the circular puzzle. Here, you’ll see a bunch of keys with pins. These are called digipicks. Each digipick has a different number and position of pins.
Thoroughly observe the available digipicks. Your goal here is to determine which digipicks can fit into the missing slots on either the outer or inner puzzle rings. Note any digipicks that do not fit into either ring.
Rotate to Most Suitable Position
Out of the digipicks that do fit the missing slots on either of the two rings, select each and rotate it into the position where it fits. You can rotate the digipicks with “A” and “D” on a keyboard or one of the thumbsticks on a controller.
Do not lock the digipicks into the position where they fit. Simply rotate to the position where you think a certain digipick would fit best, and move on to the next one. This is because sometimes a digipick may fit into a position but overlap with other keys. If you lock such a key in, it will prevent the puzzle from being solved.
The digipicks remain in the position you rotate them into for the duration of the puzzle.
Observe all the digipicks that fit into either the inner or outer rings. You want to look for the combination that fills all the missing slots on a ring without overlapping. You also need to make sure both the inner and outer rings are completed using different digipicks.
Once you’ve got the right combination, lock all your digipicks in. To do this, you only need to click on a digipick rotated to the right position. This will complete the puzzle and unlock the Digipick Linked Safe.
You need to arrange your available digipicks to fill all missing slots in the inner and outer rings of the puzzle. We hope this guide on How to Unlock the Digipick Linked Safe in Starfield helps. As always, happy gaming!
