How to get the Aspect of Encircling Blades
There are two main ways to get the Aspect of Encircling Blades. These are:
Complete the Forsaken Quarry Dungeon
The first way to get the Aspect is by finding and completing the Forsaken Quarry Dungeon. You can find this dungeon north of Kyovashad in the Fractured Peaks region. Here’s how to complete it:
- Slay all Deserted Adit enemies
Start by slaying all enemies in the deserted adit. This is the first region of the dungeon. Once you’ve killed enough, you’ll see a counter with the number of enemies left next to the objective. Find and kill them to progress to the next step.
- Travel to Neglected Haulageway
Make your way forward into the Neglected Haulageway. Reference the mini-map for help.
- Free Five Prisoners
Once in the Neglected Haulageway, your objective changes to freeing five prisoners. The map marks these as white objective icons. Kill the enemies around them and interact with each prisoner to free them.
- Use Greasy Key to open Quarry Gate
After freeing all five prisoners, head towards the Quarry Gate. The map marks this as another white icon. You need the Greasy Key to open this gate. You receive this key once you free the last prisoner.
- Travel to Shaft Base
Go through the gate. You’ll enter a room with hordes of enemies and two levers. Kill all the enemies and activate the levers to unblock the way out. Follow the path forward to reach the Shaft Base.
- Defeat Khazra Abomination
Your final objective is to defeat the boss of this dungeon, the Khazra Abomination. This is a one-on-one battle involving lots of poisonous AoEs to the ground. But as long as you avoid the resulting toxic pools and keep dealing damage, you’re good.
Extract from a Legendary Item
The second way to get this legendary aspect is to find a legendary item with the aspect equipped. Explore Dungeons, World Events, and World Bosses for high chances of farming this aspect. You can also trade Obols for Legendaries at the Purveyor of Curiosities. Offhands are the best for this as they only cost 40 Obols and are limited to Offensive Aspects.
Whether or not you get an item with this aspect depends on your luck. If you do succeed, bring the item to the Occultist to extract its aspect. Extracting an aspect destroys the gear it was on. The aspect is then added to your one-time-use inventory. You can imprint it on any new piece of gear. The process costs both gold and materials.
